Successful thermal-humidity testing of microswitch Petercem G6648-B-800

In the join work between CVŘ and CEA we decided to test the microswitch Petercem G6648-B-800 used as for example overload sensor in prototype cranes inside hot cells. The test was performed to demonstrate whether the microswitch could be functional after temperature-humidity cycles that simulate a part of operating conditions in the JHR (Jules Horowitz Reactor) hot cell. The results were positive, all parts (switch, cable, plunger with roller) were without any damage and final decision is that can and will be used inside Jules Horowitz hot cell.

It was another successful step wherever bring us to the final part of project!
